We are what we repeatedly do, excellence, therefore, is not an act but a habit!

LOVE WHO YOU ARE. LOVE WHAT YOU DO.

Dear Ones,

Each and everyone of us has so so much to be thankful for...yet many of us spend hours complaining either silently-- or out loud about how life's just not twisting and turning itself around enough to make us happy. Even though I am acutely aware that we become what we think about-I still find times when I lapse into old limited thinking. Frankly, it's maddening because, this occurs even when I've dedicated my entire life to learning about consciousness and awareness. It's not just a hobby of mine, it's my mission---So I'd like to pretend that this alone would free me from it's heavy grip...but it doesn't. So what it does tell me is that no matter how great our life is --we are not immune to the effects of heavy, dense energy and heavy dark thoughts. These sap our energy and leave us in doubt. It's all old programming, years of societal conditioning and years of thinking in the same way. And although I know it's old programming it still can catch me in its grip. The great news is, we can break the old mindset trance. We are not victims of powerful past conditioning. We can create anew! We can have a life we love. The place to start is now...by changing our thoughts, the very minute we have one that doesn't empower us.

Best selling author, Debbie Ford says that by simply asking yourself a few key powerful questions you can break the hypnotic grip of past programming and disintegrate negative and limited thinking. One of the most powerful questions she poses is-"Am I looking for what's right or am I looking for what's wrong". By asking this, we cut through the mind chatter, the stories and a lot of drama and get back to our best, highest serving thoughts. Don't get me wrong, I'm not suggesting we ignore and deny our current experience if it's unpleasant. Rather, I am saying, acknowledge the circumstance, deal with it, handle it, but don't focus and ruminate on all the bad things that could come out of it.

Compassionately embrace where you are, look at the reality of it, and along with managing the perceived problem, regularly and as often as you can, turn your focus and energy on what you want to experience. I strongly recommend you actually set time aside every day to visualize or imagine the life you want to live, and then see what you need to do to make it a reality. If you don't consciously make time to do this, your thoughts will never change and your daily experience will remain largely the same. So together, since there is strength in numbers, lets each of us, each and every day, catch our thoughts and if they are not heading in the direction we want our life to go, start the process of positive change by simply asking ourselves if we can see what's right or even good in each situation we think about or encounter. !

Namaste,

Bre
